 Best cat toy ever October 16, 2008

While this toy looks like other "thing-on-a-stick" toys for cats, it is NOT. My cats go absolutely NUTS for this, more so than any other toy (except for Da Bird by the same company, see below), and they haven't gotten bored even after 6 months of daily play with it. It was such a hit, I bought it for two of my friends and their cats are also crazy about it. The bristle mouse is very exciting all by itself, but on the wand (and with a connector that rattles a bit), this is nirvana for cats. The wire makes the mouse wiggle and look just like a real mouse. In the last 6 months, we've gone through 3 sticks (the wire unravels after a while) and 8 mice (if I forget to put it away, the mouse gets "loved" to death by the kitties). This has been their absolute favorite toy up until we got Da Bird. Da Bird has the same connector that rattles, plus it flutters! I highly highly highly recommend both of these two toys by Go Cat.

My cat absolutely loves this toy and I would give it 5 stars, but the wire breaks from the wand rather easily, and I have had to buy several new ones within a short period of time. I give this toy top marks for interative cat play, but low marks for durability.

My cats LOVE this toy! It looks and feels like real! My cats grab it and trot off like they just found a "prize." I love the way the mouse feels, but have noticed the little 'rubberband-like' fur comes out in my cats' mouths. I have to monitor them because they shake their heads until the piece comes out --or is swallowed, which concerns me. The pieces are very short, so I don't think it is hazardous -- this is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

My cat has tried every toy under the sun and this is BY FAR the best cat toy ever! It moves like a real mouse because of the way it is attached to the wire...wiggles and appears alive. My cat goes nuts for it and grabs it in her mouth and carries it off, pole and all!!!
She has chewed it up for several months and it has lasted pretty well. My only problem was the the metal wire ended up splitting, so I am going to buy a new one. LOVE THIS TOY!!!!!!!!

Hello,
this is a great toy for cats. our cats can not get enough of it. they go to the closet where it is stored and wait for it to come out.
